In addition to the quilts and items shown in the "Gallery", following are other design options that can be used to make memory and/or memorial quilts. They can be made entirely out of clothing or fabric provided by you or a combination of clothing articles provided by you with other fabric I provide that will accent or enhance the design you choose.  The pricing for each of the following designs is shown below the picture.

Diamond-shaped Blocks

The diamond-shaped fabrics in this quilt pattern can be made out of various articles of clothing provided by you and the background, small diamonds, and borders will be provided by me in a color theme of your choice. It can be made in any size you choose, determined by the size of the blocks, sashings, and borders. It would look nice as a small mini-quilted wall-hanging, or as a larger lap or bed-sized quilt. Once I know how large you want the quilt to be, I can give you a price quote.

Eight-Pointed Stars

Each of the stars in this pattern could be made out of a different piece of clothing provided by you and I can supply the background, border, and corner fabrics in a color theme of your choice.  Another option for this design is that a photo (provided by you) can be scanned and printed by me onto soft cloth and placed in the center of each star. Although the sample design at the left shows 12 stars and measures approximately 35 x 44 inches, I can make more (or less) star blocks to increase (or decrease) the size of the quilt for a wall-hanging, lap, or bed-sized quilt. The price will depend on the number of blocks and whether or not you choose to have photographs in the center of the star blocks. I can give you a price quote after I know your preferences.

Churn Dash Pattern

Each of the churn dash blocks can be made out of articles of clothing provided by you and I can supply the background, plain blocks, and border fabrics in a color theme of your choice. If desired, photos can be scanned and printed for the centers of the churn dash blocks. The pattern looks nice in any size and the prices vary, based on the size of the quilt and whether you want photos.

Double Star

This pattern makes a nice wall hanging, approximately 32 inches square and is priced at $250.00, which includes a hanging sleeve and, if desired, I can add print a photo onto soft cloth for the center square. Each component in the quilt can be made out of clothing provided by you, or I can supplement the fabrics for the borders, backgrounds, and corner blocks in a color theme of your choice.

Pin Wheels

The pin wheels in this quilt can be made out of clothing provided by you and I can supply the sashing, borders, and cornerstones in a color theme of your choice. It can be made into a small wall-hanging (including hanging sleeve) with only nine blocks, measuring approx. 25" square for $125, or can be made into lap or bed-sized quilts. Of course, the price will depend on the size and I'll be happy to give you a price quote for larger sized quilts.
